A: By implementing this legislation, fitness businesses are obligated to make cancellation procedures more accessible and user-friendly, ensuring that consumers can terminate their memberships without encountering difficulties or hidden fees.

A: The new rule is due to come into effect in around six months' time.

Q: What can we expect to change with ClubReady?
A: We are currently working on a solution for ClubReady to ensure all studios and centers are adhering to the new legislation. More details will follow, and necessary internal training and KB articles will be created and communicated within our team to make sure our team is up to date on changes and new features that are created to adhere to the new law.
Q: Is there anything we need to do now?
A: Stay up to date on all communication regarding Click-to-Cancel. There will be communication sent out to our clients about the new Click-to-Cancel and there be inquiries via email or chat about the new law means for them. It’s important that we assure our clients that we are aware of the new law and will meet the requirements of the law by the time it takes effect.
Q: Where is the agreement cancellation option added to MFA?
A: It is configured and setup in the MFA Cockpit. Please reach out to the Onboarding Team to have them set this up within the brand's Cockpit dashboard. Only users who have access to the MFA Cockpit and the Content tab within the MFA Cockpit (and once it has been setup) have access and the ability to setup the option.
Q: Who has access to the MFA Cockpit?
A: Only users on MFA Pro have access to the MFA Cockpit. Any users on MFA Starter do not have access to the MFA Cockpit and will need this option set up by ClubReady. Any users associated with a franchise will typically have access to the MFA Cockpit but not have access to the Content tab. For these users, they will need to be directed to their Franchise Corporate Team.
Q: Where can I find the ClubReady online cancellation link?
A: The online cancellation link is a unique club level link found in Setup > Sales > Sales Settings > Cancel/Freeze.
Please Note: Some staff users will not have access to the Setup tab and/or the Sales Settings tab within Setup.
Q: How does the ClubReady online cancellation link work?
A: This link allows the end user to login (with their ClubReady username and password) to view their active agreements and cancel). The cancellation is immediately processed in ClubReady.
Please Note: If there is a cancellation fee associated with the agreement, the end user will be charged this fee upon cancelling.
