Please Note:
- The recommended browsers are Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.
- The Honeywell Voyager is not compatible to scan barcodes from a mobile device and cannot be used with barcodes on the app.
- The scanner needed is the Honeywell Genesis 7580G-2. It must be configured for check in kiosk scanning and POS. This is a membership barcode scanner and can be used for club check in for the ClubReady Check In Monitor, but cannot be used in conjunction with the ClubReady Desktop App. If the Check In Web Kiosk is opened on a second monitor that is connected to the main computer, the club check ins via barcode scanning from the Check In Web Kiosk can still process in the Check In Monitor.
- Enable Barcodes For Your Check In Method: To access the ClubReady Check In Web Kiosk, navigate to Setup > General > Check In Web Kiosk.
- Ensure the kiosk is branded, enabled, and set up appropriately for barcode scanning.
- To access the kiosk, click the kiosk URL. The kiosk is a web-based kiosk that can be opened in any browser. This link can be saved on the browser for easy access.
- The kiosk must first be activated using any of the staff’s ClubReady login credentials.
- Once activated, the kiosk is ready for barcode scanning.
- In the brand’s mobile app (myFitApp), the end user will click the button setup to display their barcode. The button to access the barcode can appear in any way the brand chooses on the app and may be located on the home screen or a sub-navigation screen. If the end user has a barcode in ClubReady, that barcode will appear in the barcode page on the app. If no barcode appears, then a barcode has yet to be assigned to the person. If a barcode does not appear, you will need to enable this within their profile, check out this guide to learn How-to: Assign or Update a Client Barcode.
- The end user will hold the app with the barcode displayed in front of the scanner to scan the barcode. Once scanned, the end user’s name will appear and any related bookings they have for the day. It will also scan the person in as a club check in (appearing in the ClubReady Check In Monitor).
- Once the Confirm button is selected, the booking is logged for the end user. The kiosk can also be set up to log the booking automatically once the barcode is scanned (not requiring the Confirm button). Navigate to Setup > General > Check In Web Kiosk > How To Confirm Bookings > Automatic.
